Haven't posted in a while
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have done a few cakes over the past few weeks, however several I have done before. So instead of posting duplicates, I will only post the 3D Thomas the Train. It was done for a little ones 2nd birthday so instead of the normal "1" on Thomas, he is sporting a "2"! Hope you like it! Next weekend I will be doing Spring Cupcakes and then the following weekend I will be doing a Lightning McQueen cake! Stay tuned!

Upcoming Events and Taking Orders!
I am so excited about my upcoming cakes! :) I have one on Sunday (Princess Castle), one on the 25th (Littliest Pet Shop) and then the first two weekends in March I have Mickey Mouse and 3D Thomas the Train!!! Still have openings for the last couple weeks in March tho!! Let me know if you need something!! Then in April is pretty busy for me, however I have a few times still available. I will be busy the weekend of the 7th as we are doing my son's birthday that weekend and the following weekend (13th-15th) we will be at Euro Disney! We cannot wait to go!! And one that I am MOST excited about is a baby shower on the 21st! Can't say much about the cake as it is going to be a surprise for the "Mommy-to-be", but I will post pics afterwards! So, I will be available the last week/weekend of April. Please let me know if you are in need of a cake! Send me an email @ courtney.mccord@hotmail.com THANKS!! :)

Frozen ButterCream Transfer
Well, I finally did it! I was so nervous to do it, so I thought I better just do it or I never would. Today I did day 1 of a frozen buttercream transfer. It is a 2 day process because you have to let it freeze for 24hrs! So, today I outlined and then filled in with the colors. I am attaching some pics of the first two steps and I will post again tomorrow with the final result! It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be (at least not so far)! :) I did chose a very LOW detailed picture too! Anyways, here are the pics!
Once you have completed step 2, you will spread whatever color icing you are going to use to cover your cake. I just didn't take a pic of this step!! Then freeze for 24 hrs!
RESULTS:
Not super happy with it, but it was my first try!
